We are always ready to welcome visitors and new members. Visitors pay a fee of £3 per visit, but, if you join at a meeting, this fee is refunded. Whilst non-members are welcome to visit us twice, to come after that we do need you to join us due to insurance coverage. Your visits can be monthly meetings or interest group meetings or one of each.
The best way to join is to come to a meeting. John, our membership secretary, will be happy to provide you with the necessary forms and answer any questions you might have about joining. By being at a meeting you can also meet new friends and check our notice boards to see what we have on offer. Brenda, our group co-ordinator will be able to help with any questions you have regarding our interest groups.

Our annual membership fee is £25 which is slightly reduced if you are already a member of another u3a or if you join after 1st September. Members who wish to receive our quarterly national magazine may request this on payment of an additional £4 per year. New members are asked to complete a membership form so that we can keep in touch and make sure you are up to date with everything we have to offer. Our preferred method of payment is bank transfer but will accept cheques if you are unable to do this. We regret we only accept cash payment for raffle and visitor fees except by prior arrangement with our treasurer.
Our membership includes 11 monthly meetings at which there will be speakers or entertainment. It also includes attendance at any interest groups (subject to there being places available). Our list of interest groups is always changing and you can find out more by going to our interest groups page.
