The New Eastwood u3a was formed on 21st January 2014 with over 50 members joining. Four groups were formed at the inaugural meeting, walking, local history, family history and a craft group. As we celebrate 12 years we continue to thrive. You can see details about our current interest groups on our groups page.
We meet at Eastwood Baptist Church, Nobles Green Road, Eastwood on the third Tuesday of each month at 1.30pm. Doors open at 1.15pm and the meeting finishes at 3.30pm

Membership subscriptions are £25 per year. The easiest way to join us is to come to a monthly meeting as a visitor. A visitor fee of £3 is payable but is refunded if you join at that meeting. You may attend twice as a visitor but should you wish to continue we ask that you join at that point
The u3a provides, through members, life enhancing and life changing opportunities. Retired and semi retired people meet and learn together, not for qualifications, but for its own reward, increasing their skill level at their chosen subject. The committee and group leaders are all volunteers who give their time and skills freely.
