In common with all organisations New Eastwood u3a is required to have a number of policies and procedures in place. We also have a few forms which facilitate the smooth running of our u3a. All such documents are in the process of being moved to this page so that it is easier for members, and potential members, to find and view these.
Safeguarding Policy
The newest of our policies is our Safeguarding Policy. Please take a moment to read this policy as
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.

Constitution
Our constitution was amended at a Special General Meeting on 18th February 2025. The change approved removed the previous time restrictions on committee service while aligning with National Office guidelines. Clause 16(7) and (8) were revised to state:
"The maximum overall limit of service on the committee of New Eastwood U3A shall be up to 12 years. The requirements for a gap in service after three years in any specific role shall be removed."

Incident Reporting Form
In the event of an accident, injury, or other incident an Incident Reporting Form should be completed by a committee member, group co-ordinator or other member witnessing the event.
