Our BSL Group meets on the third Thursday of each month at 10am.

We are a small and happy group and welcome newcomers, especially beginners.   Only one of us is actually deaf, the others want to learn BSL for various reasons, mostly to communicate with others in their family or a friend who is.  We work at a steady pace and at no pressure, we laugh a lot and have great fun deciphering each other’s attempts at sign language. You need to be committed to this group though, as sessions missed can hold up progress.  BSL is now an official language in the UK and on the curriculum in some schools.
